RE:  MOJO Sports App- ASA Communication Change

A little while back in late spring we had communicated that we were going to be switching all of our communication within Agawam soccer over to MOJO sports. We are ready to kick off this transition and we wanted to get out some communication about what to expect and how Agawam and Soccer will be set up in terms of communication moving forward.

The main reason why we are switching over to MOJO is for coach education and session planning. The MOJO software will be a tremendous resource for all of our coaches to be able to use to further be able to have a database for training sessions for all different levels of players. Continuing our coach education and support program was a key initiative for Agawam soccer moving forward and the MOJO software will accomplish a goal that was very important to us.

The MOJO software is powered by TeamSnap which is one of the top communication tools in youth sports. The functionality is a little bit better and the software is better than what we had with Sports Engine. We will continue to use Sports Engine for all of our registration systems and our communications out to the league in terms of what we put on the website. Internal team communication with coaches to their teams and how Agawam soccer communicates will be done through MOJO.  All of the Agawam soccer scheduling for our travel teams and Intown teams will be done in the mojo app.

Teams will be able to communicate with the chat function just like they did with the team function on the Sports engine app. Agawam soccer teams will be ceasing all team communications with the sports engine app and everything moving forward will be done through mojo.

Again, this will be for all team communication and scheduling.  Members may still get emails from Sports Engine but the internal team communication and scheduling will be done in the MOJO app.

So what do you need to do?  We are asking for all members to download thew MOJO app. Please see the ASA web site for a photo of what the app looks like.

Agawam Soccer has subscribed for a MOJO membership.  You may see advertisements in MOJO to upgrade. YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO THIS.  All the functionality within MOJO that you will need is paid for and set up.  You can upgrade but you do not need to for anything with Agawam Soccer.

We are excited to be able to make this change which we feel with further support our coaches and our players with more tools that will help develop our players. Coming up with ways to support coaches that intern will help them be more prepared and have more resources to train players is essential. Change is not always easy but at the end of the day if it helps the players and the coaches it’s a small inconvenience for a favorable return.

Please let us know if you have any questions. Everyone in Agawam soccer working diligently right now getting the league set up for what is looking to be our biggest fall ever.

Thank you, Brian Regnier President of Agawam soccer.
