The Mawaga Soccer Club is a division of the Agawam Soccer Association and was created in name only as the Club that represents that Agawam Soccer Association in the Northeast Soccer League.

The Northeast Soccer League, which is known as the NSL, was founded in 1993 as MAPLE, but today the Northeast Soccer League provides a competitive structure for approximately 200 teams from 40 clubs throughout New England. These clubs range from large, “full service” clubs to those consisting of one or two teams, from the highly selective to the developmental. NSL offers a league structure based solely on merit which is stable, consistent, predictable and comprehensible for all teams. The structure allows all teams access and a chance to rise. NSL’s divisions do this by providing opportunity to the aspiring, competition for the developing, and challenge to the highly competitive.

The vision of the NSL is “To provide a league that fosters player development through quality competition”.

The League is built on providing members with an opportunity to compete at all levels. Through this competition, we provide the opportunity for development to the entire club, from players to coaches and beyond. We measure successful club development by results at state, regional, national and international levels. More importantly, we measure successful club development through the achievement of each club’s specific goals.

The NSL provides opportunities for ASA Players in the RSL to develop throuhg various opportunities, which include:
